PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT BERBANTUAN APLIKASI WORDWALL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 017 BONRA KECAMATAN LUYO KABUPATEN POLEWALI MANDAR

Abstract


This study employs a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The objectives of this research are to: (1) describe the implementation of the Team Games Tournament model assisted by the Wordwall application for fourth-grade students at SDN 017 Bonra, Polewali Mandar Regency; (2) analyze students' mathematics learning outcomes after using the Team Games Tournament model assisted by the Wordwall application in the fourth grade of SDN 017 Bonra; and (3) determine the impact of the Team Games Tournament model assisted by the Wordwall application on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. The study population consisted of 35 students, with 17 students in class IV A and 18 students in class IV B. The sample used in this study was 18 students from class IV B, selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods included tests, observations, and documentation. The research data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The descriptive analysis results indicate that the use of the Team Games Tournament model assisted by the Wordwall application has a moderate impact on students' learning outcomes. Meanwhile, inferential statistical analysis using the independent sample t-test shows that the probability value is less than 0.05. As a result, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, leading to the conclusion that the Team Games Tournament model assisted by the Wordwall application has a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students.
