KARAKTER MATHPRENEUR MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GALLERY WALK UNTUK MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA PADA MATA KULIAH KEWIRAUSAHAAN

Abstract


The Mathematics Entrepreneur (mathpreneur) character is a character that still requires effort to emerge in mathematics education students, including in their learning. This research aims to describe the mathpreneur character of mathematics education students through the application of the gallery walk learning model. The research subjects were 90 students consisting of 3 classes who were programming entrepreneurship courses in the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Makassar State University. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Research data was collected using a survey method using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire containing statements and questions adapted to each indicator of mathpreneur character. The data was then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the research show that in general mathematics education students after participating in learning using the gallery walk model fulfill the character of a mathpreneur, including having self-confidence, task and results oriented, taking risks, leadership, originality and future orientation with an overall average score of 3.53 or in the very satisfactory category.
