Frekuensi Penyiangan terhadap Bobot Kering Gulma Teki serta Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Padi Sawah Sistem TOT

Abstract


Keberadaan gulma teki pada budidaya padi sawah sistem Tanpa Olah Tanah (TOT) menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat pertumbuhan dan penurunan hasil tanaman akibat persaingan unsur hara, air, dan cahaya. Pengendalian gulma melalui frekuensi penyiangan yang tepat diperlukan untuk menekan dominasi gulma teki dan meningkatkan produktivitas padi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh frekuensi penyiangan terhadap bobot kering gulma teki serta hubungannya dengan pertumbuhan dan hasil padi sawah sistem TOT. Percobaan dilakukan di Panawuan, Kecamatan Tarogong Kidul, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) satu faktor enam taraf yaitu f0 : tanpa penyiangan, f1 : 20 Hari Setelah Tanam (HST), f2 : 40 HST, f3 : 40 & 60 HST, f4 : 20 & 40 HST dan f5 : 20, 40 & 60 HST. Hasil menunjukan bahwa frekuensi penyiangan berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah malai, bobot Gabah Kering Panen (GKP), dan Gabah Kering Giling (GKG), namun tidak signifikan pada tinggi tanaman serta jumlah anakan. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada f4 dengan bobot GKG 77,36 g per rumpun sekaligus menekan dominasi gulma. Penyiangan dua kali fase awal direkomendasikan sebagai strategi efisien untuk meningkatkan hasil padi pada sistem TOT.
